Commissioned Art
Successfully combining creativity with detail gives my watercolors paintings a captivating presence. This expression of warmth and accuracy radiating from the finished illustration is what defines my art. I would love to capture these qualities in an original painting for you!
I enjoy painting a variety of subjects – landscapes, seascapes, nature, buildings, college campuses and homes.
Here’s how we can begin the development of your original painting.

Here’s how we can begin the development of your original painting.
- Contact me – Gina Mitchell at [email protected]
- Photographs – Pick a good, clear photo that you are happy with and send it to me in JPEG format. If you do not have a scanned or digital image to send, I will work from a print that will be returned when the painting is finished. Since images from a digital camera can provide the most detail, I prefer their use if the painting will include a building.
- Approval – A preliminary sketch will be made for your approval before the painting is initiated.
- Payment – At the time of commission a contract is signed by the artist and the client and a 50% deposit is required. Balance is due upon completion and approval of the finished painting. Travel expenses, framing, shipping and applicable taxes are extra.
- Prices & Sizes – The price of the finished watercolor painting depends on the amount of detail in the subject and the size of the finished piece. Please contact Gina Mitchell at [email protected] for a quote.
Thank you!
